Aero Dynamics I


On successful completion of this module, students should be able to:
1. compute the flow field around airfoils, wings and fuselages, including the main aerodynamic coefficients (forces and moments) using potential flow theory
2. recognize the limitations of potential flow theory in aerodynamics
3. describe the influence of boundary layers on the flow field
4. differentiate between various wind tunnels
5. name the most important measurement techniques used in experimental aerodynamics
